Working primarily in acrylic, she constructs each surface through a sustained process of layering, removal, and revision. Color is applied, interrupted, buried, and revealed. Forms appear and dissolve. The resulting works hold a quiet tension between control and openness, between compositional clarity and painterly uncertainty.
Rosenkrands’s paintings occupy a space between abstraction and atmosphere. They resist direct narrative, yet they are not detached or purely formal. Their power lies in suggestion: a shift of tone, a suspended mark, a field of color that seems to carry emotional weather.
