Shipping policy

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. International shipments require additional documentation for customs clearance and may be subject to duties, taxes, and import fees for which the buyer is responsible.

For high-value or fragile works, we may require specialized shipping, custom crating, and insurance.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs depend on:

  • The artwork's size, weight, fragility, and value
  • Destination
  • Shipping speed
  • Crating and packing requirements
  • Insurance

We'll provide a detailed shipping quote before you confirm your purchase. For many smaller editions and prints, we offer flat-rate or free domestic shipping.

How long will delivery take?

  • Domestic (U.S.): Typically 5-10 business days for standard shipping; expedited options available
  • International: Typically 2-4 weeks, depending on destination and customs processing

For works requiring custom framing, fabrication, or specialized crating, we'll provide an estimated timeline.

How will my artwork be packed?

We use professional art-handling standards:

  • Acid-free glassine and archival materials for works on paper
  • Corner protectors, bubble wrap, and rigid supports
  • Double-walled boxes or custom crates for fragile or high-value works
  • Climate-controlled shipping where appropriate
  • Full insurance coverage

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

While rare, damage can occur in transit. If your shipment arrives damaged:

  1. Photograph the packaging before opening, if possible
  2. Carefully document any visible damage
  3. Retain all packing materials
  4. Note the damage with the carrier
  5. Contact us immediately at kate@kbfart.com

All shipments are fully insured, and we'll work with you to arrange repair, replacement, or refund.
