Anastasiia Osmolovska

"I love painting flowers because they are honest. Like life, they bloom brightly and fade too quickly. My work is about preserving that fleeting moment of triumph — a reminder to live fully, here and now, without postponing joy," says Anastasiia.

Her deep connection to flowers is rooted in her childhood. Anastasiia’s grandmother, Lyudmila, a microbiologist by profession and a talented florist by passion, created intricate compositions from dried flowers and participated in art exhibitions. As a child, Anastasiia often wandered through forests and meadows, gathering natural materials for her grandmother’s artworks. This early immersion in nature gave her a profound understanding of plants and their symbolism — a connection she later formalized by earning a degree in floristry.

Today, Anastasiia has an impressive exhibition record. In 2021, her works were featured in a group exhibition in Vienna. That same year, she held a major solo exhibition, "Touch of Time", a deeply personal project exploring the beauty and fragility of life. The series portrayed people — diverse yet united by shared experiences — and reflected on the fleeting nature of youth, the quiet confidence of maturity, and the inevitable withering that touches both flowers and people alike.

Through her art, Anastasiia invites viewers to pause, reflect, and cherish the present moment — a philosophy beautifully captured in every delicate brushstroke of her floral compositions.
