Piero Tianli was born in 1989 in China, Piero Tianli is a painter whose work is deeply rooted in the classical traditions of European oil painting while maintaining a contemporary sensibility.

He earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, Italy, in 2017, where he developed a refined technical approach influenced by the meticulous craftsmanship of the Old Masters.
His artistic journey has been shaped by a search for precision and depth in oil painting, leading him to explore realism with an emphasis on texture, light, and form. Over the years, his work has been exhibited internationally, including at the 24th Guangzhou Spring Art Fair and the 5th Shanghai Youth Art Fair, where his painting The Pianist was acquired by the organizing committee.
His dedication to craftsmanship has also been recognized through institutional collections, such as the acquisition of his graduate work Sleepwalker No. 4 by the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia.
Tianli’s practice continues to evolve as he refines his visual language, blending historical influences with his own artistic pursuit of elegance and precision. Currently, he lives and works in Shanghai, where he remains committed to pushing the boundaries of contemporary realism.
