You Always Have Options II

About the work
A traffic cone usually carries a simple message: slow down, do not cross, stop. It marks a place that needs attention, or an area that must be protected. In this painting, the cone represents the inner stop sign we often ignore: the small but necessary warning within us that protects our peace before fear takes over.
Around it, the black dogs continue to run in circles. They resemble our automatic reactions: anxiety, fear, anger, rumination, comparison, and restless thoughts. They circle the cone in a tightening spiral. When we follow them without pause, we begin to live from fear rather than clarity.
At the center, the cone stands still. It does not fight the dogs. It does not try to overpower them. Its strength comes from its insistence. It reminds us that inner peace begins when we recognize that we always have a choice in how we respond.
