About the work
"In this series, I seek to construct a luminous interior, one animated by vivid color and the quiet presence of a cat. The work aspires to offer a sense of ease and delight both visually and thematically. A kitten, mid-theft of its owner's delicate pastry, becomes a gentle metaphor—its mischief mirroring the saccharine quality of my palette. Like color, sugar, dopamine—I hope even the unfamiliar viewer might find themselves suspended in that fleeting moment of pleasure."
