About the work
A ruler in a business suit wears the face of a demon, treating the entire planet as a toy beneath his feet. Behind him, buildings collapse, cities burn, and countless lives are consumed by war. To authoritarian power, nations, communities, and billions of human beings become pieces to be moved, sacrificed, or crushed, while the Earth itself is reduced to a ball in a private game.
The painting confronts the corruption of power: when one person's appetite for control rises above the value of human life, the world becomes a battlefield shaped by his will. What appears to him as a game leaves everyone else to inherit the ruins.
