The Woman Who Did
2025
Oil on canvas
50 × 50 cm / 19.7 × 19.7 in
About the work
“When she dares to be powerful, to use her strength in the service of her vision, then it becomes less and less important whether she's afraid."
Artist Statement:
In each painting, I explore how colors coexist. Pure tones can easily become loud or gaudy, but through the balance of warmth and coolness, scale, and proportion, I seek harmony that uplifts the viewer.
My process is intuitive and ever-changing. I begin without a fixed image in mind; painting feels like an adventure where every stroke can lead to surprise. This openness keeps my work alive and spontaneous.
For me, painting mirrors life, unpredictable, playful, and full of discovery.
