About the work
The Maze to Peace is Tianhao’s urgent meditation on how fragile peace has become in a world increasingly defined by conflict. The palette of green, red, white, and black evokes nations, identities, and the accumulated emotional weight of contemporary crises. At the maze's center rests a monumental white dove, motionless and intact yet unreachable. Nearby, a small girl wanders in confusion, wiping away her tears, unable to tell which direction leads forward.
Tianhao draws attention to the paradox of peace itself. Vast, essential, and always present, yet often experienced as distant or inaccessible. The work asks us to recognize our responsibility to guide others through mazes built from politics, fear, and collective silence.
