About the work
In Looking Up at the Skyglow, smoke and gunfire crush the certainty of existence. On one side of the earth, two young boys are trapped amid the ruins. Desolation dissolves the visible form of hope, and the future becomes impossible. Yet the faint light remaining in their eyes suggests something war cannot destroy: the instinct to look beyond suffering. Bound by the absurdity of violence, life is still searching for its own invincible summer through the cracks of nothingness.
